Akaroa Marine Reserve

Lies at the mouth of Akaroa Harbour. From Elephant Point to Gateway Point. Akaroa is visited by many marine mammals including the Hector dolphin and smaller whale species. Occassionally you will see larger whales such as humpback, southern right and blue.
