Motu Manawa-Pollen Island Marine Reserve

Protects 500ha of inner Auckland's Waitemata Harbour. A great area for seabirds and waders including: white-fronted and Caspian tern, godwit, knot and sandpiper.The dinghy boat ramp at the end of Walker Rd in Point Chevalier is best for launching.
