Te Matuku Marine Reserve

One of Waiheke Island's largest and least disturbed estuaries, plus an area outside Te Matuku Bay in the Waiheke Channel. Great for bird and wildlife watching. The endangered NZ dotterel can be seen here - please do not approach nesting birds.
