Ulva Island-Te Wharawhara Marine Reserve

This sheltered reserve has clear pristine waters, teeming with fish and a massive variety of seaweeds. You  will often see fur seals, sea lions and yellow eyed penguins. The average February temperature is 12ºC dropping to 8ºC in July.
