Port Tarakohe Marina is a popular spot in Golden Bay. A safe all weather, all tide harbour.
The wharf and facilities were updgraded and completed in July 2025.
Just 2km from Pohara Top Ten Holiday Park, restaurants and accommodation. So many
arrive at the port not knowing this is just down the road.
Most services can be found in nearby Takaka township, transport available.
